The park

In the heart of the city of Compiègne, the 20 hectare ‘English’ park offers a 4 kilometre perspective on the forest.

The Reception Areas and the Royal and Imperial Appartments

With a unique set of late 18th-century décors from the First and Second Empires, the Imperial Apartments encompass some twenty exceptional rooms (40m² to 500m²).

Open for filming daily, daytime and evening

Adjacent to the Imperial Apartments, these twenty rooms afford a view over the park, the main courtyard and the town of Compiègne.

The Theatre, Napoleon I’s private apartment, the Guest Apartments, the cellars, etc. These rooms, closed to the public, are available for filming.

The Museums

Ask for availability.

The Museum of the Second Empire and the Empress (20 rooms – 900 m²) offer the cosy atmosphere of a suite of small salons, evoking court life in Compiègne under Napoleon III.
The rooms of the National Museum of the Vehicle (26 rooms, a covered courtyard – 2,000m² – 170 vehicles) are also available.
