At the entrance to the gardens, to the right of the kiosk, is a vestige of the formal gardens: the quincunxes of lime trees. Picnics are permitted in this part of the gardens.
Animals
Animals, even on a lead, are prohibited within the château and its grounds.
Lifts
A lift is available for people with reduced mobility wishing to access the Royal and Imperial Apartments

Gift shop
The gift shop is located at the entrance to the château. It is open to all during the château's opening hours. An online shop is also available.
Wedding photography
Wedding photos are permitted free of charge in the grounds of the Château de Compiègne during the estate's opening hours.
All requests must be sent in advance to Patricia Duronsoy, Events and Private Functions Manager.
We remind you that it is prohibited to:
- walk on the lawns,
- access the estate by vehicle,
- take wedding photos in the château’s visitor circuit.

Toilets are available to the public at the entrance to the château and at the south entrance of the park.
